About the Route
The full length of our line, Samuil – Silistra, spans 113 km.
The route offers varying maximum speeds of 70 km/h, 65 km/h, and 40 km/h, depending on the section.
Originally branching from the electrified Line 9 (Kaspichan – Ruse), this section remains non-electrified, providing a unique diesel-operated experience.
The line features scenic forests, open fields, and village landscapes, with the caves near Ruyno adding a distinctive charm to the journey.
